iPhone 5
What is with all of the hype surrounding the new iPhone 5?
I’ve read some crazy stories about people paying the homeless to wait in line and buy phones for them… people getting hurt trying to get the phone… of course people stealing them…
It’s a phone. Is it really worth all of that?
The new iPhone 5 has a super fast processor, the call quality is really good, the camera is really good and the touch ID feature works flawlessly. The main downside to the iPhone 5 is that is isn’t that much of an upgrade from the 4s. Apple’s iPhone 5s brings a couple of improvements and new features… mainly the Touch ID, which is a fingerprint-based identity sensor… but that is really the main change here.
Another huge issue with the iPhone 5 is that the HTML is filled with bugs and defects… everything from your home screen to the gestures you make using the phone. Seems this new phone was “pulled from the oven” a bit prematurely.

There is a lot of research being conducted to show just how bad our cell phones are for us. I don’t think they were picking on the iPhone in particular – just using it as an example since it is so popular right now… all smartphones are bad for us and could be really messing with our physical and mental well-being. You can read their full post on it HERE.
What do you think? Did you rush out and grab a new iPhone5?
